If we don't have what you're looking for, try these other great Catholic stores and book resources! Supporting family run bookstores is the best way to make sure they stick around.

Adoremus Books is a very impressive family run bookstore. We hope to follow in their footsteps and someday, with God's blessing, be as successful as they. Large businesses just don't compare to the service you get at Adoremus (and we hope the same is true of From the Abbey).

The Shepherd's Gifts is another family-owned bookstore. This one is local to us, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. The owners of The Shepherd's Gifts have been very encouraging to us when we met them at Catholic conferences. They have a very complementary inventory to ours - so together we can offer you a lot of good Catholic material!

Eighth Day Books has the largest selection of books that support the true spirit of the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. Their selection covers culture, literature, art, spirituality, philosophy, and eastern catholicism and orthodoxy. They label themselves "eccentric but orthodox." We label them people who understand the Joy of the Truth!

Aquinas and More is a bookstore with a great name, and is one of the most comprehensive Catholic distributors out there.  Not only do they have lots of inventory, they have great stuff for book lovers - a bookstore blog and a reader's forum.

Discuss the books you read!  CatholicBookDiscussion.com is the forum of Aquinas and More bookstore.  We hope to eventually start our own forum, once our customer base is built up, but until then (and even then), explore CatholicBookDiscussion.com!

Are you trying to read a book series, but have trouble remembering (or even finding out in the first place) what order to read the books?  The Kent District Library has a database book series that could help you out!

Home educators and anyone interested in teaching their children to be life-long learners will really appreciate The Fun in Learning.  This site is filled with forums, articles and resources on the different ways that people learn.  Their forum invites people to share products and ideas that they have tried and how well they worked.  What a great resource!

McBeth's Opinion is a website written by a home educating mother for other home educators, with resources, reviews and ideas.  It's a little difficult to navigate, but full of great information.  This page is a page of book reviews of science fiction and fantasy books, offering well thought-out opinions about what is appropriate for Catholic young people to read and what is not.
