Reaffirming Life is a handy guide to the Church's teachings on life issues. Mark Neilsen pulls from papal documents, Vatican documents and documents from the United States Council of Catholic Bishops to show the totality of the Church's teaching on each issue, and ties these quotations together neatly with a concise narrative. While Neilsen does refer to the "seamless garment," of the Church's concern for humanity he does treat life issues with the gravity it deserves. Topics covered: |
